March 20, 2010 - Sixth Annual Pioneer Day at DeSoto Park 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. DeSoto Park is located north off of Highway 70 just west of the Peace River Bridge. More information can be found here.

May 28, 2010 - Third Annual Tribute Dinner at the Family Service Center Annex. We will be honoring Coach Richard Bowers this year. There will be a receiving line at 5:00 pm and dinner will begin at 6:00 pm. Seating is limited, so make your arrangements to attend early! 

 

The American Flag in the Tree of Knowledge Park was virtually destroyed by Hurricane Charley. The American Legion is shown here performing a ceremony at the first annual Pioneer Day to replace the Flag.
